The National Association of Counties (NACo) Achievement Awards honor innovative county government programs. Award-winning programs must have achieved a measurable impact on the community, respond to a problem or need, and be replicable by other counties.
The Acoustic Showcase series, in partnership with eliteAudience, was honored for bringing quality, local music across the 4,500 square miles of San Diego County. Since April 2010, over 20,000 customers have attended over 600 shows, which have taken place at 23 branch libraries across the county and featured 90 different performers
